Learn how to recover from hip & lower back related pains, and how to reduce and recover from pain.
Follow along in this guided treatment video Hip and lower back pain are very common in today’s society, and it has a lot to do with the sedentary lifestyle that we find ourselves in. When we are seated for longer periods of times whether it is in a sofa, officer chair, at a study desk, in a driver seat, at a train or bus we compress the joints in our hips and the discs in our spine.
This makes them stiff and rigid, our joints need to relieve compression, need to add compression, tension, twists and movements in order to produce joint fluids that keeps them nourished, loose, healthy, mobile and vital to support our movements throughout life. Hip and lower back stiffness affects every area of your body, so a holistic approach is recommended so that we take as many factors as possible into consideration when working on it. In this video we will use a band and soft movements to both assess, increase circulation and reduce compression in the hip joint and lower back.
This will create a loose and relaxed environment The best times to work through these areas are in the morning, in the evening and before any sports, physical workout, yoga session etc. This sequence can be done several times per week without any complications. The hip joint carries a lot of our bodyweight and is involved in most movements we do on a daily basis. When we free our hips the rest of the body tends to follow along and loosen up.
