Starting a 21 day detox program
My 21 day detox program is about to start. It’s been more than one year now since I began my Holistic Detox journey and started to explore the amazing healing benefits from raw food, raw fruit and different forms of fasting protocols. The last couple of months I have been eating cooked plant based food with no gluten and no sugar. During this time I have been focusing on building our center, my emotional healing and my energy work. I now feel it is time for another dive into the amazing detox healing opportunities and I will start with transitioning into raw food and raw fruit and see how I feel. My intention is to experiment with my energy levels combined with physical activity to see how the frequency of the fruit and the raw food affects my own practice. I feel that my body has been asking for a lighter diet with a higher frequency then the cooked food I have been eating for a period of time now. I felt it was time to put together a 21 day detox plan.
Creating a Detox Plan
My plan will be to start off with transitioning into raw food and raw fruit together with nuts and seeds. Might also add the occasional steamed vegetables now in the beginning. I will add products from Dr Morse in term of the GI Broom and The Heal All Tea. There is also plenty of local herbs and natural supplements that I will use.
I will also make an appointment for my first ever colonic cleanse and might also add a liver flush. I felt awful doing my liver flush the last time, but I feel it might be time for another round 🙂
A big part of my detoxing is to clear out emotional blockages and without the grounding from the food they are more easily accessible. I use Chi Nei Tsang, TRE, emotional treatments from my partner Simba, Thai Massage, movements and meditation techniques to unlock blockages.
My physical regime lately has been functional circuit workouts mixed with movement and corrective exercises. Going into this detox my plan is to cut back a bit on the heavier workouts and incorporate even more movement and corrective exercises. I have had back issues as a result of stiff feet, legs and hips and I will take this opportunity to unlock what is stored in these areas as it goes hand in hand with the emotional work that I am doing.
I will pay close attention to my energy levels, my creativity and my stress levels. Due to howI feel I will go deeper with raw fruit and/or juice fasting. This started out as a 10 day detox together with my friend Hanna, now I plan to go at least 21 days. However I feel I would definitely benefit from doing this for even a longer period of time so I will not treat it like a specific plan, instead I will see how I can incorporate this into my lifestyle in a healthy and sustainable way.
