Progress & Holistic Health Assessments
Today I share updates about my 1 year on raw food (predominantly fruits). I have decided to keep track and updates of my progress by using the assessments we use for our clients.
When we assess we gain more detailed information that is important in designing the right lifestyle and individualized coaching plan for each client that we work with. The assessments also allow us to see progress and to show progress to our clients during the follow-up assessments. Assessments serve as a vital tool this way also in educating clients along their road to having a more balanced lifestyle.
Assessments are a big part of learning your way forward and to create sustainable expectations and reconnecting with your body. See what works for you, see when the body is detoxifying itself, and learn to understand the signals that it is trying to communicate to you daily.
We add all the values into our program to get a detailed report on your progress during assessments. The metrics we use for testing body composition are:
🍃 Tape measurement from neck to calf
🍃 Body composition is measured with skin fold calipers
🍃 Bone composition is measured by a bone caliper
Vital signs are measured using the following metrics:
🍃 Heart Resting rate
🍃 Blood Pressure Right and Left arm Posture alignment is measured using the following metrics:
🍃 Forward head posture
🍃 First rip caliper
🍃 Hip calipers
🍃 Inclinometer for spinal alignment
Additionally, we add photos from left, right, front, and back using a plumbline to get a visual difference in your progress forwards, both in regards to posture but also to see the physical shift.
Apart from our questionnaires and initial consultation we physically assess our clients to see the progress and so that we can build upon their program accordingly.
