I am extremely grateful to both Simba and Sarah for providing me with a safe and healthy space to work through some my personal troubles. I had been experiencing severe insomnia for around 6 months and signing up to their unique combination of spiritual healing and physiotherapy sessions was the best decision I made. Sarah was lovely to talk to and I instantly felt very comfortable in her presence.
Talking to Sarah enabled me to realise some childhood traumas that I had not allowed myself to acknowledge over the years. Through talking to her, and focusing on the weekly exercises that she assigned me, I was able to notice some of my unhealthy thoughts and learn how to improve my thought processes. While working on my mental health, I also engaged in some physiotherapy sessions with Simba. Alternating between counselling sessions and more physical sessions was perfect for me. It enabled me to realise that everything is connected – mind and body, and in order to properly heal, it is essential to recognise this link.
Simba was kind, compassionate and I also felt very comfortable in his presence. I enjoyed the Reiki session, but particularly benefitted from TRE as it helped me release tension that I had been unknowingly storing. After experiencing what I would consider to be the worst period in my life, I am pleased to say that my insomnia has gone completely. I know that this was heavily due to the tools and coping strategies that I learnt from my sessions with Simba and Sarah.
It has been 2 months now since my last session, and I continue to mediate and incorporate the mindfulness practices that they encouraged me to use. I particularly valued how Sarah and Simba incorporated Bhuddist philosophies into their work. I personally feel very aligned with this way of life and find strength in mediating on a daily basis. I am extremely grateful to these wonderful people and couldn’t recommend them more to anyone who is struggling with insomnia, depression, anxiety, eating disorders or poor physical health.
I recently left Thailand to focus on my studies, however I hope to return once I graduate. I will be sure to visit them again in their beautiful and welcoming home.
